Where Curiosity Meets Conversation

Some communities form quietly — one thoughtful person at a time. Others spark into life the moment the right people gather around the right table. The Debates for Adults club is very much the second kind.

Starting this week, every Wednesday at 19:00, the club will meet at its new home: Campus X, bul. Alexander Malinov 31. A space designed for ideas seems like the perfect stage for this micro-community to grow.

The upcoming session will dive into a topic that sits right at the crossroads of innovation and uncertainty:

“Artificial Intelligence is a Threat to the Job Market.”

Four debaters will explore both sides — not to win, but to stretch perspectives, sharpen arguments, and practice the discipline that makes debating so uniquely energizing.

And the best part?

Entry is free, and everyone is welcome.

A Community Rooted in Curiosity

The club was started by Grisha Karanikolov from Telerik Academy, one of our Campus X members. What began as a small circle has quickly turned into a growing community of people who want to refine their thinking, strengthen their communication skills, and challenge their assumptions in a friendly, structured environment.

Debates for Adults introduces participants to the fundamentals of debating — structure, rules, best practices — while opening space for public speaking, idea-sharing, and expanding one’s worldview.

Each week, the group selects the topic for the following session.

Anyone who wants to join the conversation — whether experienced or brand new to debating — can become part of the Facebook group here:

See You This Wednesday

If you’ve ever wanted to explore debating, meet curious people, or simply listen in on a thoughtful exchange — this is your invitation.

Come as you are.

Bring your voice.

And let’s keep building a community where ideas meet respect, and conversations shape understanding.
