About the event

Overview

Join this workshop to learn how to build web applications using native browser components. You will have the opportunity to learn how to use the features of web components (Shadow DOM, HTML templates and Custom Elements). Additionally, you will get acquainted with a small helper library developed by the Polymer team called lit-html, that helps to speed up the development process.

Prerequisites:

The workshop requires good JavaScript knowledge. Visual Studio Code editor will be used during the workshop.

About the Trainers

Ilia Idakiev is a software developer-entrepreneur, as well as a JavaScript enthusiast with many years of web application development experience. He is а co-organizer of Angular Sofia and SofiaJS / BeerJS and a lecturer at Sofia University, teaching the course "Advanced JavaScript" at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics. In his spare time, Ilia likes collecting and playing vinyl at various musical events.

Aleksander Kostov is a software developer with several years of experience in building web applications and hybrid mobile applications. He also teaches "Object Oriented Programming" and "Programming Data Structures" in C++, and is part of the "Advanced JavaScript" course team at Sofia University.
